1. SELECTING YOUR BIRD
First you will contact us letting us know which bird you are interested with, providing the ID number of your preferred bird.
2. DEPOSIT TO SECURE YOUR BIRD
You will then be required to pay a deposit to secure your bird via PAY ID or Bank transfer. Once payment has been received we will place your bird as sold - First in best dressed!
3. UPDATES
You will receive weekly updates of your bird! Videos and photos! We love connecting and talking to our customers! We will keep you updated on how your baby is going in regards to weaning etc.
4. DNA
Once DNA has been received we will send you through the DNA card (if you would like us to do something special for your little birdie gender reveal let us know!)
5. ONCE WEANED
Once your baby has weaned, we will supply you with a pick up date! We give a 2 week time frame. Please note that your bird must be picked up within this 2 weeks, otherwise a boarding fee will incur of $20 per week. The longer a bird is here with us we cannot guarantee that your bird will be as tame as it would be if picked up within the 2 week time frame as we have to then focus on our new babies coming into the nursery on a regular basis. We will still handle your baby daily but they may not get the same focus they were previously getting as we like to move babies on fast to ensure they have the best possible chance of forming a close bond with their new owners. Bonding with a baby bird is much easier! Even though our babies are hand raised and tame. They still have to adjust to you and trust you to form a bond.
6. FINAL PAYMENT
Final payment will need to be made a week before pick up date to ensure funds clear into our accounts. We will not release a bird without funds cleared into our account.
7. GOING HOME
Please note we DO NOT allow birds to travel home in a box with holes. Our birds are loved for like they are our babies and deserve the best! We are not a pet shop. Please ensure you have an appropriate travel cage for your feathered friend for their travels home. If you cannot get a travel cage please let us know up to 4 days before pick up and we can arrange a travel cage for you which can be paid at pick up.
